Wolverhampton in midwinter may not be the most appetizing proposition but Kieren Fallon could be the man to cheer race fans up a little.
Fallon is back from Dubai and booked for a couple of rides at the Midlands track, on what has turned out to be a one meeting Monday.
The veteran jockey jumps aboard Cri Na Mara in the opening race and can be backed at 5.50 in his six draw.
The four-year-old ran into a respectable fifth over six furlongs on his last appearance at Dundalk in January. He was bang there with a furlong to go and a return to the minimum distance may suit.
His only win has come at the Midlands track over the five furlongs when he beat Deveze by three-and-a-half lengths.
Fallon's other mount, Berlusca in the , won a six furlong nursery here in October and is running over a mile for the first time for a new yard, and is available at 4.33.
