Carroll eyes Carling Cup glory

Liverpool striker Andy Carroll has revealed his determination to bring the Carling Cup back to Merseyside this season.
Liverpool manager Kenny Dalglish is targeting silverware.The Reds are preparing for their showdown with Championship outfit Cardiff City in the final of the competition at Wembley on Sunday, with Liverpool at 1.28 to win, 5.50 to draw and 11.00 to lose to the Welsh side.
This will be the first time the Premier League giants have played at the national stadium since its redevelopment and it will be the first cup final for their frontman Carroll.
The former Newcastle United striker has started to show signings of settling into life at Anfield following his big money move from the North East, with a well-taken goal in their 6-1 FA Cup thrashing of Brighton last weekend.
Carroll has insisted he is happy with life at Liverpool and is hoping to bring the club's fans some silverware this season.
The 23-year-old said: "I feel like I am doing well. I have just started scoring goals and I think it has all come together.
"It is a massive game and I think all the lads are looking forward to it. Hopefully we can get the win.
"I have never been to a cup final. That is all I am looking forward to, getting there. It is a great feeling and hopefully we can win it."
